Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026. This policy covers the Holdpoint web platform and the Holdpoint Field Capture app. Holdpoint is operated by Holdpoint Technologies Pty Ltd in Australia and Holdpoint, Inc. in the United States (together, “Holdpoint”, “we”).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and the company that invited you.
- Project records you create: test results, check sheet answers, notes, punch items, photos you attach, and signatures you draw to sign off work.
- Record integrity data: a signing key created on your phone, and the time and device each record was made on, so every record can be shown to be unaltered.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Photo location data is removed before upload.
Why we collect it
To provide the service your company has engaged us for: recording verification evidence against project assets and showing who recorded it and when.
Who owns it and who sees it
Project records belong to the company that owns the project. They are visible to people that company grants access to. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
On Supabase (database and files) and Vercel (web hosting), encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept while your account is active. Signed project records are kept for as long as the project owner requires them as construction records, because altering or removing them would break the evidence trail.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data at any time. See deleting your account or email admin@holdpoint.com.
